One of the Finest Public Courses in South Florida

The Abacoa Golf Course was the last course designed by renowned course architect Joe Lee before his death. In typical Joe Lee style, Abacoa’s lakes and bunkers meet its sloping fairways with little obstruction, and you’ll find scenic views with 14 of its 18 holes surrounded by water. All of these features make the tees, greens, and fairways a pure pleasure to play.

This course is challenging but fair to golfers of all skill and experience levels, and unlike many Florida courses, Abacoa has real elevation changes. The greens are TifEagle grass, and the putting surfaces are of some of the highest quality in Florida. Treat yourself to a round at Abacoa!

Join us for Daily Golf Clinics by PGA Professionals!

Regularly scheduled clinics at Abacoa Golf Club provide professional instruction in a group environment. Our PGA Instructors cover a variety of topics including Full Swing with Irons, Hybrids, Fairway Woods or Driver and Short Game skills including Putting, Chipping, Pitch Shots or Bunker Shots. The Sunday Game Improvement Clinic focuses on the variety of shots encountered in a typical round of golf.

LEARNING CENTER

Sharpen your skills with our professional golf instructors. There are a variety of schools and packages available however they all have one very important thing in common: You will receive high-level instruction from a team of professionals including Bill Davis, Adam Foegen, Rick Martino and Susan Vail, among others.

Abacoa Golf Club is fully equipped with an all natural grass driving range with grass tees, elevated target greens, and a large putting practice area. When my wife of 60 years passed in 2021, Brooke oversaw the reception after the funeral. Her kindness and care reflected the relationship she and my wife and I enjoyed for many years prior. I would have trusted no one else to the task. More recently, I sponsored a one-hundreth Birthday party for a fellow Marine. Again, Brooke and her team rose to the ocassion with style and class. The event included the Commandant of the Marine Corps and the Marine Corps Band. It was a flawless celebration, noted by all 160 in attendance.
