John Bierkan

John is a PGA Professional who has been dedicated to teaching and coaching for more than 20 years. John grew up in the golf business, as his father was a PGA Professional in Connecticut for 50 years. John’s love of the game, fascination with the golf swing and desire to help students learn and improve are the driving forces in his instruction. John has worked for or learned directly from several of America’s top teachers including: Jim McLean, Chuck Cook, T.J. Tomasi, Dana Dahlquist, Dr. Rob Neal, John Graham, David Orr and James Ridyard. John has served as the Director of Instruction at several of America’s top private clubs including: Aronimink Golf Club near Philadelphia for 13 years, Old Marsh Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, FL for 5 years, Quail Valley Golf Club in Vero Beach, FL for 8 years and Caves Valley Golf Club just outside of Baltimore for 5 years. John has been a nationally ranked Instructor for several years (highlights below). He teaches with high-speed video and utilizes Trackman- the world’s leading golf launch monitor. John also prides himself as a nice player, having qualified 6 times for the PGA Professional National Championship.
